Altriluoghi, is more than a brand, it’s a state of mind and an experience of collective making where every protagonist brings their own know-how to create a product that is beautiful and truly good to accompany gourmets beyond fashion. “That’s our little big revolution: enough of slogans like “I’m green” which don’t carry anything new or original. We guarantee the handmade production, the ecology and the 100% Italian. The result? Unique products with style and taste.”
Altriluoghi items communicate coherence: through the purchase of the organic cotton from fair trade producers and its processing in Italy, they respect the workers’ rights in the south as well as in the north of the world. The cotton comes from the plantations of Maikaal, in India, where biodynamic agriculture has been in use since 1991. All the other phases of the production take place entirely in Italy.
Altriluoghi faces the challenge of an ambitious project: combining fashion and sustainability by suggesting a new point of balance in the contrast between new basic and new luxury. Where luxury was a display of useless wealth, new luxury is a prerogative of a production that respects the future.
